who are the people who are ostensibly running in both parties? What do you know about them? How would you rate their candidacies in terms of ability and communication?

Congress and the Courts/Congress and Organized Interests

Respond to the following discussion prompts in this discussion board by the deadline listed in the Course Schedule:

This question is based on the Herrnson book readings.

Purposely held campaign strategies, communications, and the campaigns of incumbents, challenger, or open seats separate from the last question.  Many of you taking this course live in other states.  Look at the seats for your personal congressional districts and senator (if you have a senator up for reelection).  How are they communicating with you at this point?  Have any of your congresspersons announced retirement at the end of the session in 2022?  What does that mean for the race in your district?  If your district or senate seat is likely to be an open seat, who are the people who are ostensibly running in both parties? What do you know about them? How would you rate their candidacies in terms of ability and communication?  What does the knowledge of voter behavior in your district mean for their chances?

Ensure you are meeting the following discussion requirements.
