Redesigning Loteria Cards

Final Project: Rethinking La Lotería through a Chicana/Latina Feminist Lens.

In this course, we have analyzed the ways in which Chicanas/Latina experience oppression based on race, class, gender, and sexuality. Additionally, we have discussed modern theories and methods of Chicana/Latina feminisms to better understand the ways in which Chicanas/Latinas have challenged and resisted colonial patriarchal structures throughout history and today’s society.
