Knowledge Style Diagnostic Inventory

The purpose of this assignment is to help you identify your own knowledge style as identified by the Knowledge Style Diagnostic Inventory, or KSDI This assignment supports or fulfills the following module objectives:

Name and define the three types of knowledge style, explaining how individuals of each type interact with information.
Identify and evaluate personal knowledge style, elaborating on how one may improve personal ways of interacting with information and converting it to true knowledge.
The Assignment
For this essay assignment, I want you to take the Knowledge Styles Diagnostic Inventory on pages 34 and 35 of your textbook, then go to exercise 3.3 on page 49 which contains the table for tabulating your responses on the knowledge styles diagnostic inventory. After you have completed this, write a one or more page essay in MLA format that discusses your results, addressing the following:
1. The name and definition of the three knowledge styles.
2. If you agree with these results or not. Explain why you feel this way.
3. If you feel you need to improve, elaborate on some strategies you could use.
4. Could you use any of the knowledge you gained last week on multiple intelligences to improve your knowledge style?
5. Be creative in your responses, and don’t be ashamed of your results. Most people don’t like the results of this battery but it can be a real eye opener.
