How is the impact of colonialism or post colonialism on African society described within the story?

My professor has asked me to write a book report. He’d like me to summarize the book as well as answer 3 specific questions. He gave us four books to choose from. haven’t picked one yet, but I’ll let you know which one shortly! Also, let me know if you need me to also provide a copy of the book. can also provide the syllabus for the class and/or the short papers have written myself for this class thus far if that helps you to get an idea of what the professor is looking for and my writing style (which isn’t that great haha). Let me know if that would help! Below are the questions, as mentioned.

1) How is Africa represented within the book? What images, ideas, beliefs, and attitudes about African society are expressed?

2) How are gender relations described in the book? What do you perceive of women’s and men’s roles and/ or status?

3) How is the impact of colonialism or post colonialism on African society described within the story?
