Discuss the history and current state of the peer-reviewed, academic literature as it relates to your own research question.

This Research Paper stems from the research question you were given at the beginning of the term. This is meant to be an opportunity for you to showcase the statistical analysis tools you have learned over the course of the term and apply them to a “real-world” policy question.

Your paper must also use the datasets provided in the course, along with appropriate SPSS output, included as figures or tables, to answer your research question.

This is essentially a literature review discussing the major findings of all of the recent research. Your annotated bibliography will be a great help here.
Do not simply copy and paste your annotated bibliography. Use those sources to support your question by relating it to that body of literature.

Present your research question and your hypothesis. Explain the methodological approach you will take to answer your question and justify why it is the best approach to answering your question.
