The Thick Dark Fog
My assignment is to write a two page, double-spaced reaction paper to the film/documentary called “The Thick Dark Fog”.
Am hoping you have access to Kanopy.com so you can watch the film, or maybe you can find it on another site. It is about a Native American man who, as a child, was forced to attend an Indian boarding school, where his identity was supressed, and now he is working to reclaim all that he lost.
Summarize the film including your thoughts/perspectives on this topic. Some questions to answer while constructing the paper include:
Why did you select this particular film/documentary (what caught your interest)?
What information was the author trying to convey to his/her audience?
Did you feel the film/documentary was geared towards a specific audience? If it was a documentary was the author biased/factual?What was the intent of the author to create this film/documentary?
Were there examples to support the authors message to the audience?
What did you learn (take away) from this film/documentary?
No plagiarism, and the only source that should be used is the film itself.
