Set out the representational forms implicated in the case
Set out the power relations embedded in the representations – who is advantaged/ disadvantaged or empowered/disempowered
Set out the ethical implications – are the representational forms equitable or inequitable and why.

1. Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate social and cultural representations of one of the following: society and social action; power and the exercise of power; structure and agency; individual and collective action.
2. Understand and critically assess the impact of appropriate social and cultural representations upon our understanding of one of the following: society and social action; power and the exercise of power; structure and agency; individual and collective action.
3. Demonstrate an ability to critically reflect upon the implications of such theoretical representations for the individual and society.
