In this paper, I will discuss how even though medieval peasant families had more of a flexible work schedule and worked fewer hours than the Modern Americans, their quality of life lacked certain basic essentials and personal liberties.

Completion of the following assignment will demonstrate your mastery of the impact that the revival of trade in the High Middle Ages had upon European society by fostering the growth of urban centers.

During the High Middle Ages (1000-1300 CE) the revival of trade and the growth of industrial production – particularly in the woolen industry – fostered the rebirth of urban centers and the creation of numerous new occupations as a result.
