How does this chapter contribute to your ongoing understanding of your theme? How did your current background knowledge of your theme affect the way that you read the chapter and how is your reading different from your classmates’? How does that help you to understand how knowledge is produced when thinking about a social problem?

Provide the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, values, and skills in Professional Identity, Critical Thinking, Diversity and Practice, Research-Based Practice and Engagement, Assessment, Intervention, and Evaluation in clinical practice.

You will then integrate your research with class and field learning on family systems engagement in a 4-5 page paper that reports on the literature and then presents your own protocol for engagement of families from your selected populations . Do not summarize articles paragraph by paragraph, but offer an integrated review of what you found in your reading. look at some of the Introductory/Literature Review sections of published articles from the class and model your integrated review on that style. You will lose credit if you summarize articles paragraph by paragraph.

In the second half of the paper describe specific strategies for working with your chosen population.
Guidelines will be further clarified in live classrooms. Your population selection requires instructor’s approval. You are to write a sentence or two on your specific interest and selected group for instructor approval: due by the 2nd week. This requirement may be met with a brief email.
This assignment will provide the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, values, and skills in Professional Identity, Critical Thinking, Diversity and Practice, Research-Based Practice and Engagement, Assessment, Intervention, and Evaluation in clinical practice.

What social group is the ad intended for? What social groups are represented in the advertisement?

Deconstructing the world around us

Select any advertisement and use your sociological imagination to analyze it; apply concepts from the chapters you have read so far. In your response, you should address the following questions:

1.What social group is the ad intended for? What social groups are represented in the advertisement?
2. Does the advertisement reinforce or violate social norms? Explain.
3. In addition to the product or service, what is the ad selling? Think about the time of day the commercial is running and on what channel. If your ad is in print, consider the source is it being advertised in. What does that have to say about the intended audience?
4. What does the ad convey about race, class, and gender in America?

What do your authors suggest as ideas for improvement? What does your relevant SDG offer as guidance? What has been done already? What does not work based upon these first experiments?

Basic maternity services around the world

THREE ACTIONABLE POLICY SOLUTIONS.
Your chosen SDG already pointed to “targets.” These “targets” are things to consider as blueprints for policies.
Be precise. The policies must be focused enough so that they are realistically implementable. But, you do have “unlimited funds,” so that obstacle is removed artificially for the sake of completing the paper.
SPECIFIC STEPS TO TAKE:
1. Using your sources, address the core global issue at the heart of your project. What do your authors suggest as ideas for improvement? What does your relevant SDG offer as guidance? What has been done already? What does not work based upon these first experiments?
2. Although these are still “draft ideas,” try to lock them in right now with this third Milestone.
