Capstone A- project B- A LITERATURE REVIEW

The literature review assignment must be designed to address the following questions:
• Who are the key theorists/researchers in your public health topic?
• What are the key issues?
• What are the gaps in the existing body of knowledge?
The literature review should provide a basis for justifying a clear research question or hypothesis to be explored further.
You must also indicate the search strategy used for your literature review. For example, what were the key words you searched for, and which key databases or other sources did you use to conduct your literature review?

Provide an overview of the situation. Identify key issues underlying the problems identified in the article that you read.

Case Study Analysis

Your assignment is to use the article that was assigned to you, as well as your text book, and complete each of the sections below. The report must follow APA formatting and be at least 2 pages, double spaced, not including your Title and Reference page.

Develop an advocacy statement, just as if you would testify at the United Nations – include a brief description of the population and its vulnerability and advocate for the rights of your selected population to: education, health, prevention, treatment, health care…. children, girls, mothers, elderly, etc. Your statement needs to be convincing, based on research and facts, and with a global component, suggesting a potential solution.

Present the problem;
Provide facts, data about the problem.
Share a story or give an example of the problem.
Connect the issue to the audience’s values, concerns or self-interest.
Make your request .

What did you learn from your thesis that has raised additional questions in your mind? What did you learn that may take you down another path in this topic area?

Report on each interview question by reviewing all respondents’ answers and grouping similar answers together. For example: All interviewees agreed that X is true, but I2 and I 5 also said Y…Ensure that all salient information is captured from each question. If an interview didn’t respond to the question, note that.

Be clear on the difference between implications and limitations. There are two different things.

• Your limitations were included in your methodology section – to discuss the factors that impacted your ability to conduct your research .

• The implications for further research chapter asks: What did you learn from your statement that has raised additional questions in your mind? What did you learn that may take you down another path in this topic area?

• It is not a reflection on what went wrong in your paper – rather an academic assessment of what you or another researcher may want to do next.

How does a company make sure its employees look like they enjoy being there to help others?

People in Hawaiian T-shirts. Delicious fresh fruits and vegetables. A place where parking is tight and aisles are tiny. A place where you will be unable to find half the things on your list but will go home satisfied. We are, of course, talking about Trader Joe’s , a unique grocery store headquartered in California and located in 22 states. By selling store-brand and gourmet foods at affordable prices, this chain created a special niche for itself. Yet the helpful employees who stock the shelves and answer questions are definitely key to what makes this store unique and helps it achieve twice the sales of traditional supermarkets.
Shopping here is fun, and chatting with employees is a routine part of this experience. Employees are upbeat and friendly to each other and to customers. If you look lost, there is the definite offer of help.

But somehow the friendliness does not seem scripted. Instead, if they see you shopping for big trays of cheese, they might casually inquire if you are having a party and then point to other selections. If they see you chasing your toddler, they are quick to tie a balloon to his wrist. When you ask them if they have any cumin, they get down on their knees to check the back of the aisle, with the attitude of helping a guest that is visiting their home. How does a company make sure its employees look like they enjoy being there to help others?

What idea do you have to improve something at your job, your organization, or in your community?Who would care about this idea? In other words, who should be your intended audience?

Persuasive Communication

You need to begin preparing for subsequent activities related to the Final Recommendation Report due in Module 8. See the Final Recommendation Report Flow Chart.docx to get an idea of what is coming.

In other words, you must consider the scope of your topic; you cannot attempt, for example, to solve the rising student debt crisis in the United States; nor can you attend to the refusal of some organizations to require face masks in their establishments during the pandemic.

Once you have decided upon a topic as the focus for your final report, you will then write a letter to your instructor identifying the problem or opportunity you wish to research and write about in that final report.

Consider the following as you complete this exercise:

1) What idea do you have to improve something at your job, your organization, or in your community?

Is it a new process or policy?

Is it a new position that should be created?

Is it a new program that could be created?

2) Who would care about this idea? In other words, who should be your intended audience?

Is it your boss? Your boss’s boss? A board? An elected official?

What will you need to do in your final report to convince your audience that your idea or solution is worth implementing?

Create the scenario and then decide upon a host of factors: is this a friend? A rival? Was the complaint true or accurate? Egregious? Is your company liable in this case?

Further, your letter must be persuasive and substantive in content . A minimum of 350 words  is required.

Option 1
1. A formal letter to your boss to let him or her know that you have handled a customer complaint issued against a colleague. This is a dicey situation because you must create the scenario and then decide upon a host of factors: is this a friend? A rival? Was the complaint true or accurate? Egregious? Is your company liable in this case?

Option 2
2. A formal letter to a group of colleagues to request a meeting to create a new policy in response to a recent and unpleasant occurrence. You will need to discuss the sensitive nature of the action and those involved, but you must remain professional and heed the warnings in the resources about litigious actions.

Option 3
3. A formal letter to a client to address his/her complaints against your company. Your client is being unrealistic and demanding exorbitant compensation, but your management team believes that the error was minor and in no way requires major compensation. Here’s the problem: this client is one of your most loyal and most important as far as producing revenue for your company. Worse? This customer’s nephew works at your company and has access to all your correspondence.
