Identify an intervention useful for stress management: journal, exercise , meditation, music therapy, equine therapy etc.

Purpose: Stress can have a negative impact upon one’s health. Students will incorporate knowledge of MI techniques to engage a specific population in an evidence-based activity that reduces stress levels. Through creating a stress management plan, the APRN gains experiential knowledge to utilize in their clinical practice.

For this assignment, students will explore a mindfulness technique of interest and apply it to a specific population. Develop a scholarly paper that addresses the following criteria:

1. Identify an intervention useful for stress management: journal, exercise , meditation, music therapy, equine therapy etc.

2. Research the intervention selected and cite evidence of effectiveness providing cultural considerations that may impact success of the intervention

3.Outline motivational techniques used to develop an effective stress management plan

4. Develop two SMART goals that will be used to monitor the effectiveness of the management plan

Summarize the differences between perceived and objective realities and how our perceptions negotiate what we believe to be true.

Our text suggests that objective reality is often significantly different from our perceived reality and is an important variable to consider when making decisions within an organization. In addition, attribution theory describes how people create the explanations for their own and others’ actions, as well as for the outcomes of applied behaviors. Based on these two premises, formulate an analysis about how the development of our realities explain human behaviors within organizations and industry that can essentially affect rational decision making.
