We know that the existence of God has been an ongoing debate for quite some time, many have tried to find the answers to our questions about the world, and its existence. The Cosmological Argument, which was one of the first cause arguments to exist in which argued the existence of God by debating God’s existence, for there must be a God. Everything has purpose and a cause. However with this argument also come questions, and flaw but the real question is, is the cosmological argument enough to prove the existence of God? We will dive in and find out.

Analyze the relationships among culture, diversity, and self by investigating their influence on one’s discipline of study or chosen profession.

IDS 400 Final Project Part One Guidelines and Rubric

Overview This course explores diversity and its impact on the world around us. Diversity influences society, and society influences diversity, creating a feedback loop between them. We will critically analyze this feedback loop in this course through social, historical, and theoretical approaches to diversity as well as the four general education lenses: history, humanities, natural and applied sciences, and social sciences. Each of these four perspectives allows us to better understand the construction of diversity and its interrelation with society. From this enhanced understanding, you will be equipped to draw connections between popular culture and your personal and professional lives, helping you to become a betterinformed citizen who can make a positive difference in the world.

Issues and events in diversity have a pervading influence on many aspects of society, and how they are dealt with requires diverse knowledge and perspectives to investigate and change. The purpose of this project is to examine a specific issue or event in diversity and how it impacts individuals and society through the development of a critical analysis portfolio, and later a presentation in which you will demonstrate your ability to think critically, investigate, and communicate
clearly. These skills are often necessary to achieve personal and professional goals across many disciplines.

In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcomes:

Analyze the relationships among culture, diversity, and self by investigating their influence on ones discipline of study or chosen profession

Integrate interdisciplinary approaches for determining how issues of diversity affect modern societies in both personal and professional contexts

Recommend strategies for overcoming obstacles in diversity to meet personal and professional goals

Assess the challenges of overcoming issues in diversity through the incorporation of diverse perspectives and viewpoints informed by relevant literature
and peer experiences

What authority does the president have in creating foreign policy? How much authority is wrapped up in his or her personality and popularity?

A common belief among academics is that foreign affairs and national defense issues have very little impact on presidential campaigns (Aldrich, et al 1989). One theory is that voters are more concerned about domestic issues – their own economic concerns, for example. Another theory (Aldrich, et al 1989) is that there is very little difference between the two major parties’ positions when it comes to America’s foreign policy and national defense. However, with the presidential election already under way, there are already distinct differences being drawn by the candidates on how they view the role of the president in crafting foreign policy and how closely he or she should work with Congress. Furthermore, each candidate has their own stance on how strongly engaged America should be internationally.

What authority does the president have in creating foreign policy? Has it shifted over time? How much authority is wrapped up in his or her personality and popularity? What about the authority of Congress? How have these powers shifted over two centuries of American history? Is there an ideal balance? Which branch should have the most power? How involved should the United States be internationally? Should we be the “world’s police”?

How did the Vikings influence culture during their settlement period in Scotland?

Cultural influences of Vikings in Scotland

How did the Vikings influence culture during their settlement period in Scotland? Would like the essay to focus on the 8th to 11th centuries, but if there is something important up to the 15th century then that would be ok too. If you’re able to focus on one region, such as Dál Riata or the Hebrides then that would be great, although some cultural practices may not be restricted to one region. Some consideration should be given to contemporary culture that shows Viking influence, though not a lot, and maybe towards the end of the essay. I’ve included some sources that may be useful, but all sources need to be academic and journals need to be peer-reviewed. The reference list and citations should be in Chicago author/date. Thank you so much!

What were the major challenges facing the newly emerging nations in the postwar period? How did different nations respond to those challenges?

Answer the following 2 questions

1. What were the major challenges facing the newly emerging nations in the postwar period? How did different nations respond to those challenges?

2. Why did the communist regimes collapse in the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, but not in China?*

Respond to the following 2 posts from my classmates

1. The major challenging facing all the emerging nations in the postwar were:
The spread of communism was the primary challenge. The Soviet Union wanted it to spread to many especially to the European countries. The United States did not want this to happen and they responded by trying to reduce or eliminate this by creating Marshall Plan. Also the destruction of things such as cities, roads, and railways were rebuilt and help to stimulate the economy again. The US was also dealing with the Soviet Cuban Missiles building sites, which if deployed would destroy most of Eastern United States. President Kennedy gave a firm command for them to stand down and they did. Also, independence was a challenge to many nations post war. They struggled with independence economic and political.

2. Why did the communist regimes collapse in the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, but not in China?*
A number of events and uprisings in 1980 are led to the collapse of the Soviet Union. … Last, in the Soviet Union, the failed August Coup in 1991 led to the end of the Communist Party in USSR. All of these events led to the end of communism and the making of a democratic Russia. Within a year, the Soviet Union had ceased to exist. While it is, for all practical purposes, impossible to pinpoint a single cause for an event as complex and far-reaching as the dissolution of a global superpower, a number of internal and external factors were certainly at play in the collapse of the U.S.S.R.
