Does the candidate include information on the type of assessment, and is the assessment adapted for diverse needs?

The lesson is evaluated on the extent to which it is differentiated to address these learning differences. The process of how students will learn the content can be differentiated for learning modalities, supports for English learners, and those with learning disabilities. We can differentiate the content – what students will learn. This is important because students all come to us with different levels of readiness. We need to plan activities that meet students where they are. Finally, we can differentiate the products that students produce to show us what they have learned. Consider learning styles, prior learning experiences, and any supports needed so that everyone can access the curriculum.

We evaluate the assessment to determine how well it provides information about student learning. Does the candidate include information on the type of assessment, and is the assessment adapted for diverse needs?

Describe an altered Electoral College system or an alternative way of electing presidents and then explain what weaknesses it might introduce into the election process.

General elections for the presidency

The Electoral College is a mechanism of electing presidents that dates from a 1787 compromise. The winning election coalition celebrates the Electoral College’s consistency with American federalism and the Electoral College winner usually coincides with the winner of the overall popular vote. The losing election coalition of a popular vote winner may decry its inconsistencies with truly representative government.

1. Explain the logic behind the Electoral College system of choosing a president, including how it can be seen as relevant even in the modern age.

2. Describe an altered Electoral College system or an alternative way of electing presidents and then explain what weaknesses it might introduce into the election process.

The attatchment is an audio “The Electoral College and Change” sent in written form.

Discuss different behaviours displayed by children in learning environments and formulate reasons using a learning behavioural theory, with examples where possible.

Early childhood teachers are usually clear of their work with children while they construct understandings of their world. However, when children behave in ways that upset us, we tend to do things to them, by delivering rewards and punishments. In other words, our practices for responding to children’s thoughtless behaviours are incompatible with our teaching practices and beliefs.
You’re required to reflect on what behaviour is and utilise one of the theories of behaviour that you have been introduced to in the unit to date.
Discuss different behaviours displayed by children in learning environments and formulate reasons using a learning behavioural theory, with examples where possible. Keep in mind there may be multiple contributing factors as to why different behaviours may occur. Then, you are also required to examine what policies and practices are appropriate to maintain positive learning environments. Policies refer to Belonging, being & becoming – The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia  , or another relevant policy framework, e.g. the National Quality Standard .
