Discuss the wisdom of having financial institutions that are recognized as ‘too big to fail’ and the moral hazard they present to the economy at large.

The commercial banking structure in the US has changed a great deal in the past 30 years. Today the market structure of banking is that of a small set of globally huge banking behemoths and a much larger set of much smaller banks. The big banks since the 2008 crisis have been characterized as ‘too big to fail’ and are even now in their own category of bank regulations.

Discuss the wisdom of having financial institutions that are recognized as ‘too big to fail’ and the moral hazard they present to the economy at large.

Describe the firm’s main . Outline and explore the production and cost concepts affecting managerial decisions: economies of scale, relation between fixed and variable costs.

Prepare a report undertaking an economic analysis of an organisation of your choice, its markets and the wider macroeconomic context using evidence drawn from company reports, market reports, market data and academic journal articles, etc.
The report should include:
a description of the organisation’s basic characteristics;

Describe the firm’s main . Outline and explore the production and cost concepts affecting managerial decisions: economies of scale, relation between fixed and variable costs; the state of technology in the sector in which the firm operates and the degree of technological uncertainty involved.

Which of the 10 key points identifies your greatest opportunity for improvement and which points are your greatest strengths? provide details to support both positions.

“Ways for Trust to Flourish in the Workplace”

Review the attachment “Ways for Trust to Flourish in the Workplace”. Which of the 10 key points identifies your greatest opportunity for improvement and which points are your greatest strengths? provide details to support both positions.

After reviewing the attachment “Ways for Trust to Flourish in the Workplace”, think of a leader that you have worked with or worked for that demonstrated the key attributes of trust in the workplace and share what traits they practiced that made you respect them.

Identify two or three forms of market failure that affect you, such as a negative or positive externality, a public good provided by a local government, or asymmetric information about the safety of consumer products you purchase.

The Impact of Market Failure

Identify two or three forms of market failure that affect you, such as a negative or positive externality, a public good provided by a local government, or asymmetric information about the safety of consumer products you purchase.

What are the causes of the market failure?

Explain whether or not government regulation is involved with correcting the market failures, and share your views on the success of the intervention.

Define market failure and identify at least two of the most common forms of market failure. Select examples consistent with Fourevr’s operations .

Client Presentation on Globalization: Part 1

Provide a brief introduction to Fourevr Enterprises, including type of business and industry and what types of products or services the company offers.
Define market failure and identify at least two of the most common forms of market failure. Select examples consistent with Fourevr’s operations .
For each market failure identified, use graphs and economic models to explain the following:
The reason for the market failure
The possible or potential effects of the failure on Fourevr’s operations
The role of government regulations/policy to correct each failure, and what effects those regulations might have on the company’s costs, revenues, and profits

Apply the finite difference method to find the algebraic representation of the governing equations for each node.

Application of ODEs in chemical reaction engineering
Reactions in series are commonly occurring in chemical engineering. This task is an open-ended assignment regarding the application of advanced mathematics in analyzing the reaction kinetics in a series of reactions. To keep the flow of the solution at a consistent level, use the below set of reactions in a batch reactor and find the changes of concentration over time for all the species via the general mole balances approach. Solve the resulting ODEs using three methods stated below and compare the results via MATLAB:
𝐴 𝑘1
→ 𝐵 𝑘2
→ 𝐶
a) The analytical solution using the exponential functions
b) Laplace transformation pathway with presumed initial conditions
c) Numerical methods and approximation of derivations
d) Using parameter tuning in your programming, obtain various trends under which B
concentration peaks and degrades. What parameters influence this behaviour and how?

Applications of PDEs in 2d conductive heat transfer
For a two-dimensional heat transfer in the figure below, find the temperature at the four internal
nodes while addressing the questions:
a) Derive the governing equations for heat transfer under steady-state conditions .
b) Apply the finite difference method to find the algebraic representation of the governing
equations for each node.
c) Pick a temperature for each side of the sample within the given range and calculate the temperatures at the internal nodes. Use two different methods for solving simultaneous eqiations in MATLAB.
d) Create 9 internal nodes  and find the temperature distributions in that case.
Research the suitable approaches to build the resulting equation system and solve it using
MATLAB to obtain the temperatures.

Who are the main competitors for the firm? How does the firm use the commercial to distinguish their product from their competitors?

Microeconomics

The Super Bowl is the most watched television event in the United States. Due to this, there is high demand for commercial time, with firms paying $5.5 million in 2021 for 30 second commercial. Watch two commercials which were aired during Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, February 13th. Answer the following questions for each commercial,

Write a summary of the commercial. Discuss which firm is advertising, and the good or service being advertised.

Who are the main competitors for the firm? How does the firm use the commercial to distinguish their product from their competitors?

Is there a specific demographic the firm is trying to appeal to in the commercial? Discuss which demographic(s) and how the commercial appeals to them.

Explain whether or not you think the commercial will help increase demand for the product.

Explain how you used the spreadsheet to analyze the data. Consider the following: What trends does your analysis of the survey results show? Which survey responses got the most positive results? The most negative?

Create a spreadsheet to organize and sort the data from the Trexpedition customer survey results. you should use spreadsheet functions and operations. The way you format your spreadsheet is up to you, but make sure that it will be useful to the stakeholders at Trexpedition. Your final spreadsheet can include, but is not limited to, the following functions and operations: Filters Cell formatting Charts, tables, and graphs Pivot tables Formulas, for example: Average Count Countif SUM Freeze panes Logical functions Decimal and number formatting

then in a 150 – 200 written report Explain how the spreadsheet meets Andrea’s stated data needs and the data needs of others in the organization.
Explain how you used the spreadsheet to analyze the data. Consider the following:
What trends does your analysis of the survey results show?
Which survey responses got the most positive results? The most negative?
Detail which functions and operations you used in the spreadsheet to complete your analysis.
Describe how you used formatting to make the spreadsheet user-friendly and visually appealing.
Explain what implications the results of the survey have for the company. Report on conclusions of the data analysis by providing three recommendations for ways Trexpedition should respond to the customer survey responses.

Will the superannuation industry therefore mimic the banking industry in 2025? With few large players and no threats or competition?Explain.

There is also the issue of reduced competition within the industry. With the removal of small funds, the industry will see large funds grow even more.

Will the superannuation industry therefore mimic the banking industry in 2025? With few large players and no threats or competition?

The removal of competition will result in less incentive for funds to improve their services or reduce their fees. Instead the market will be subjected to the pros and cons of oligopolistic competition, comparable to the banking industry.
There is also a risk that comes with a high level of concentration in any industry. What will happen in the event of a market collapse or security breach, such as hacking?

What if an option to buy another system presents itself in the future?

 Cost of Ownership Analysis

When conducting a cost of ownership analysis, you should consider present and future costs. For instance, what if an option to buy another system presents itself in the future? Make sure to also include a comparison of maintenance and other internal costs versus those that would be incurred if you chose to buy. See below for a standard COO template.

Interface Design Specs, Flowcharts/ERDs, Systems Architecture Model, and Scrum Plan

Now is the time to go back to the use cases that you created and think about the most logical layout and order of the screens. Remember — you want the system to be easily navigated by the staff, while also providing the functionality that they requested. Check out the “Text and Video Resources” below for guidance to help you get started. Please refer to the schedule frequently to ensure that you’re handing in deliverables on time.
