List and explain reasons why the health status of a country plays an important role in its economic status. Create a table that shows how the access, quality, and cost of health care are influenced by the low-income, middle-income, and high-income status of an economy.

You are currently working as an administrative assistant for a large metropolitan hospital. You have been asked to prepare an article for the hospital newsletter about international health care. The following are the items you have been asked to include:

List and explain reasons why the health status of a country plays an important role in its economic status.

Explain the role that the WHO plays in the prevention of communicable diseases. Select 7 foreign countries, and briefly describe the communicable disease situation in the selected countries. Include your statistics in a table format.

As a health care professional for an international health care network, you plan to visit 7 foreign countries this year as part of a communicable disease prevention program. Before you travel, you need to provide information to your assistants about the health care services in the countries you will be visiting, as well as on the World Health Organization , the agency that is concerned with international public health.

Research using the Library and other resources to address the following:

Provide examples that show how the WHO is involved with global health care assistance.
Explain the role that the WHO plays in the prevention of communicable diseases.
Select 7 foreign countries, and briefly describe the communicable disease situation in the selected countries. Include your statistics in a table format.
What are the possible sources of financing for programs like the one in which you are involved?
Be sure to support your information by citing at least 2 scholarly references using APA format.

Create a one-page critique of the other research design that includes arguments why the design may not be suitable for researching your problem. Include a summary of the key arguments for your choice.

One of the many tasks involved in writing a dissertation or a research article is being able to justify the choice of one methodology over others. Just as critical to the feasibility of a study is the stated rationale for selecting a specific research design. This week, you are introduced to two research designs that have several features in common; there are also stark contrasts that are identifiable.

Consider what you have learned about the case study and phenomenological research designs. Using Job Satisfaction and Police Resignation in US Policing, how could you use these designs to gain insights to fulfill the purpose of your study?

Begin by selecting the approach that best fits the problem. Use the resources provided and at least three other peer-reviewed articles to defend your choice. Create a one-page critique of the other research design that includes arguments why the design may not be suitable for researching your problem. Include a summary of the key arguments for your choice.

Write one measurable, actionable fire prevention objective for this program. Briefly describe the fire prevention message you would try to deliver to this audience. Identify the groups in the community that could be helpful or involved in message delivery.

Instructions
Understanding the importance of how fire investigation leads to identifying the cause and origin of a fire is vital in aiding the fire prevention bureau in the design and implementation of any fire prevention program.
Review the data compiled by the NFPA related to structural fire causes:
Campbell, R. (2017). Intentional fires. National Fire Protection Association. https://www.nfpa.org/-/media/Files/News-and-Research/Fire-statistics-and-reports/US-Fire-Problem/Fire-causes/osintentional.ashx
Read Section One, “Intentional Structural Fires,” and choose any two structural fire causes that you think are relevant to and/or currently problematic in your community or jurisdiction. For each cause, include the information listed below.
Explain whether the cause would indicate a primarily individual or community risk.
Identify who you would target with a relevant fire safety education program and how a cause-and-origin investigation is used to determine this.
Recall how you would use the five-step model to compose the fire safety education program.
Write one measurable, actionable fire prevention objective for this program.
Briefly describe the fire prevention message you would try to deliver to this audience.
Identify the groups in the community that could be helpful or involved in message delivery.
Briefly explain how you could evaluate this program’s effectiveness.
Your written assignment should be at least two pages in length. Be sure to utilize APA formatting for all sources cited. You should use at least two sources for this assignment.

Reflect on if you did or did not notice other literary differences, such as with the narrative structure, character development, or style, for example?

Read Wab Kinew’s The Reason You Walk. Use your library card to get a hard copy of the book at your local library or read it online using the Overdrive app. It is also available free with a free trial of Audible: https://www.audible.ca/pd/The-Reason-You-Walk-Audiobook/B077F1319SL
Perhaps you can find it in our E-library.

If you cannot access a copy of the book, let me know, and we will send a copy out to you.
After reading Wab Kinew’s The Reason, You Walk,” spend some time reflecting on the themes presented. Are these themes noticeably different than what you have read in other non-Indigenous literature?

Reflect on if you did or did not notice other literary differences, such as with the narrative structure, character development, or style, for example? Was there an emphasis placed on story ownership or rules surrounding different cultural practices or events, or did the author embed Indigenous words in the text?

Did anything surprise you about yourself or your learning style when working on the IE component?

Reflection Paper: Little Pantry Research Project

Be thoughtful and reflective on this. This is a reflection discussion for just the Research project of the Little Pantry component of the course. Express thoughts while carrying out a project like this, and what you felt were areas where you do well or do not do well? The questions below are the guideline to write the reflection.

a. Reflect on your experience with the outreach project, how did you feel it challenged you?
b. Did anything surprise you about yourself or your learning style when working on the IE component?
c. How do you feel about the project now compared to before you started it? Where you more engaged or less so?

With this project, to me it is a humbling experience knowing there are many people out there looking out for their community, trying to help out those in need.
