Telehealth is defined as the delivery and facilitation of health and health-related services including medical care, provider and patient education, health information services, and self-care via telecommunications and digital communication technologies.

Live video conferencing, mobile health apps, “store and forward” electronic transmission, and remote patient monitoring are examples of technologies used in telehealth .Telepsychiatry on the other hand, is a process that uses a telecommunications device to provide psychiatric services to people who are separated from a psychiatrist by a distance and those who feel more comfortable at home. Telepsychiatry may offer several benefits, including convenience and better accessibility.
