Write a 5-10 page (about 1700 words) persuasive essay to convince the company to engage in data-driven decision-making using decision support systems.

Data-Driven Decision-Making Using a support system

We have been exploring the advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and through the scenarios given in the Cases that we’ve reviewed and completed, we have been able to simulate enhancing productivity through the use of formulas and features within Microsoft Excel. Our rationale for learning and using Microsoft Excel for our life’s work is apparent to us or should be readily apparent to us as we continue through this course. However, not all people have taken this course, and do not see the business need for using Microsoft Excel in line of business decision support systems. The purpose of this paper will be to evaluate primary and secondary sources regarding decision support systems, including those implemented in Microsoft Excel and to persuade a manager to further investigate the use and to ultimately agree with you that you should engage in data-driven decision-making and decision support systems using Microsoft Excel.

The Assignment
Write a persuasive/argumentative essay to describe and argue that your business should engage in data-driven decision-making and the use of decision support systems. You may use your professional environment, if it is appropriate to the terms of your employment. If you do not have the ability to speak of your environment, please feel free to imagine an environment that does not yet use data-driven decision-making and argue that this fictitious company engage in it.

Requirements
Write a 5-10 page (about 1700 words) persuasive essay to convince the company to engage in data-driven decision-making using decision support systems. Double-spaced, 1” margins, your choice of font, but it cannot be more than 12pt (I’d suggest Times New Roman).

Details from the Studies and Literature as presented in the Term Project Module should be used to help you make the case; however, you do not have to limit yourself to solely those readings/references.
