Sampling

To make an inquiry about relevant ethical considerations via email, a researcher will need to email IRB@mail.waldenu.edu with the specific question(s) as well as the following information:

Which research questions do you propose to address?

Where do you propose to conduct your research? Which organization(s) would be involved?

What is your personal and/or professional role in relation to the proposed partner organizations?

What is the proposed population of participants?

What recruitment procedure did you have in mind?

How will you collect data (i.e. surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.)?

Based on the above information, the IRB will try to help identify any “red flag” ethical issues that might affect the feasibility of the study.
